Summa-Rose Cottage is a beautiful cottage nestled in the heart of Broke Village and only 15 minutes from the commercial hub of Pokolbin. It has an open plan living area with a wonderful wood burning fire and a modern kitchen. It has three queens size bedrooms and a modern bathroom with large spa. Summa-Rose Cottage will sleep 2-6 guests comfortably.

It is situated on the edge of lovely Broke Village with lovely views of the Brokenback rangers and is a perfect retreat or romantic getaway, the relaxed spoiled ambiance greets you. Why not waste the day away sipping your wine and taking a long hot spa or just sitting by the fire.

Your accommodation package includes a wine hamper on arrival with cheese, locally produced tapenade. gourmet coffee, tea and a spa pack when you want to relax.

Location

The historic village of Broke is idyllically situated on the banks of the Wollombi brook - dozing peacefully in the sun below the massive golden escarpment of Yellow Rock at the western end of the Brokenback Range and nestled on the edge of the World Heritage listed Yengo National Park.

What to Do

Sitting between Pokolbin and Wollombi, Broke played a critical role in the development and history of NSW. The area also offers some of the best wining and dining in the State

For the golf enthusiasts, there is easy access to some of the most challenging golf courses in Australia including the Vintage and Cypress Lakes

our friends at Nightingale Vineyards have a complimentry Double Decker Bus that will pick you up from
Summa-Rose Cottage (Saturday only) and will take you and your friends on a wine and olive grove tour! (A must do lots of fun!)

We have everything for you to cook at home including a BBQ but if you dont feel like cooking, I can recommend two wonderful restaurants Barclay Square at Nightingales Winery & the newly opened Margans. They are both only 3 - 5 minutes from the Cottage. Pickled and Pitted is a 100mtr walk from the cottage where you can purchase local gourmet olive oils and homemade tapenades, semidried tomatoes, chilli etc which I have in my guest basket for you.

We loved the cottage. The comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, delightful outdoor eating area and the little touches of luxury were all appreciated by our group of 3 couples. We hope to return next year.

We had a great time at Summa-Rose cottage. Broke is a really scenic part of the Hunter Valley and close to some fabulous wineries. The house is lovely and all the rooms have been beautifully decorated.
